HOFER is where I am currently employed. Known in Austria for the low prices and highly efficient workforce, this supermarket job is very demanding physically aswell as emotionally due to the immense workload and constant expectance for extreme efficiency and speed while still conducting a work of high quality. The company puts the biggest emphasis on employee friendliness towards customers.

• Patient care within the framework of the rescue organization ASB (Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund) during the mandatory nine month civil service in Austria.

To become a certified first responder, I first had to pass a series of three tests and was then awarded with an official certificate.

In the medical field, I was able to gain some life saving knowledge along the nine month period, including:

• How to efficiently perform first aid on any injured or ill individual.
• How to keep calm and calm down others in high stress and pressure situations.

Specializing in underground plastics infrastructure and expert industrial consulting, my time at my fathers' company provided me with quite substantial insight into the world of business, allowing me to witness first hand the diverse financial aspects that constitute the company and allowed for its subsequent success.

• Basics in software engineering and diverse coding languages.

My grandfather Fouad Ashkar, founder of BMC Gulf Trading & Contracting LLC, allowed me to take a glimpse into the world of computer science as I was always interested in new

technologies. This internship allowed me to learn the basics of coding in C+, C++, python and HTML.
