I bring a diverse range of skills and knowledge of project management, research, legal practice and marketing that have been developed over the years through both my formal education and professional experience.
I Coordinate and support implementation of knowledge-management networks' activities. As well as monitoring and evaluating their activities. I also providing technical expertise in planning, development and monitoring of capacity building activities in close coordination with technical divisions and other technical departments, as well as supporting implementation of these projects in Member States. Moreover, I develop self-assessment tools and corresponding guidance and training materials, in close coordination with technical officers and international experts.
I supported all phases of project design and implementation including, analyzing development needs/gaps, identifying and selecting project opportunities, and fulfilling project commitments. I am doing some analytic tasks as well as budget and funding activities, organizing materials, assessing project's progress toward its objectives, and providing draft inputs to some written products such as literature reviews, project documentation, project proposals, liaison activities, monthly progress reports on implementation, research reports, perform security risk assessment and management, monitoring activities and briefings. I am also undertaking several tasks such as supervision of field staff, coordination of project implementation, preparation of policy briefs and management of field data collection.
My other responsibilities include developing toolkits and information materials, establishing collaborative relationships and building relevant strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, related clusters and member-states institutions and bodies, compiling donor reports, developing and supporting user satisfaction survey initiatives, managing virtual platforms,proofreading, quality checks and data collection and analysis.
I was a staff member with the RSC Vienna, working to assist refugees. I held interviews with refugees and writing their prosecution cases. I also drafted replies for management in the context of appeals; Conduct legal research and analysis on issues pertaining to Public International Law; Provide legal opinions to management and staff on application and interpretation of Staff Regulations and Staff Rules, Financial Regulations and Financial Rules, and Procurement Rules; and Draft legal opinions on various related issues.
I was involved in preparations of the 15th Session of the UNIDO General Conference held in December 2013, and in particular, round table organized by the Middle East and Arab Programme, which included a group of high-level panelists. I conducted research and drafted some research papers related to the Arab Spring and post-conflict economic situation of some countries in the region. Additionally, I gave a presentation about “Contemporary Challenges of Youth Unemployment”.
