Key Responsibilities

• Manage ABB’s automation installed base across Greece and Cyprus.
• Manage service sales and develop upgrade and modernization opportunities across LNG, refining and chemical industries, from minor improvements to major projects.
• Develop customer-specific modernization roadmaps based on system lifecycle and customer needs.
• Contribute to annual departmental budget planning by forecasting major modernization opportunities across future years.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with Digital, Cyber Security, and Bid & Proposal teams, integrating relevant solutions, technical requirements and licensing.

Selected Projects & Contributions

• Secured a multi million euro sale for the upgrade of ABB 800xA Power Management System across eight substations, including controller and communication card replacements, alongside a Cyber Security solution proposal.
• Managed the technical and commercial proposal for a major SCADA modernization project for a Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP), incorporating ABB 800xA, Symphony Plus Historian, Symphony Plus Operations and High Integrity applications.
• Played an active role in establishing and organizing the service department, contributing to process development, installed base tracking tools and the identification and development of future service sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supported maintenance and troubleshooting of instrumentation, automation and drive systems, including sensors, field instruments, PLCs, feeders, weighing systems, actuators, gas analyzers and communication systems.
• Coordinated internal maintenance teams and external contractors, planned and supervised field activities, and ensured compliance with safety requirements.
• Organized spare-parts inventory to address significant stock shortages and improve maintenance readiness.

Selected Projects & Contributions

• Supervised the installation and commissioning of instrumentation and gas analyzer systems for RDF/Calciner project, and commissioned ABB drives for RDF conveyors and screw feeders handling alternative fuel for kiln feeding.

Key Responsibilities

• Performed field service, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of AC/DC low- and medium-voltage drives across Greece, Cyprus and Balkans.
• Installed and commissioned digital applications for drives and motors, supporting enhanced functionality and system performance.
• Provided remote and on-site technical support, including fault diagnosis and planned maintenance activities.
• Coordinated and supervised subcontractors during field service activities, maintenance interventions and shutdowns, ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
• Managed ABB repair workshop operations and repair processes, following applicable safety requirements.
• Advised customers on equipment lifecycle, modernization, system improvements and spare-parts requirements, building long-term customer relationships.

Selected Projects

• Participated as supporting engineer in the commissioning of two ACS6000 MultiDrive systems for an aluminium rolling mill.
• Replaced IGCT boards on four ACS1000 drives at cement production process equipment.

• Gained hands-on experience in electrical panel assembly and construction, electrical maintenance and fault troubleshooting.
