Executive director, then Partner at the strategy consulting business line called Parthenon of EY's Budapest office. My job is to lead the business development efforts and coordinate the delivery of strategy & energy sector related projects. Special focus on international cooperation with regional and Middle Eastern clients and enhance the cross service line cooperation in order to meet the complex need of domestic clients.


Key projects:

- Biogas and biomethane market review and identification of investment opportunities for EBRD in 8 Central European countries

- Identification of growth potential by benchmarking of five Central European countries' electricity balancing markets for a regional energy company.

- Market entry strategy and Post-merger integration of a regional oil company concerning the acquisition of large portfolio of assets in another country.

- Restructuring of an electricity TSO's network connection operation in relation to the massive increase in new built solar PV capacities.

Selling and delivering various strategic and business consulting projects in the field of energy and infrastructure. Member of the leadership in a team of 25 people. Coordinate and lead the business development efforts of the strategy-service line of Deloitte's energy consulting. Service line consisted of 6 people including a direct report manager. I had a leading role in making Deloitte a top consulting brand in the energy industry on the Hungarian market. Project size from EUR 50-300 thousand.


Key projects:

  • Elaboration of the future retail strategy and governance model of an German energy company's Hungarian subsidiary
  • Structuring the Hungarian Energy Innovation strategy, commissioned by the responsible Ministry The study latter incorporated in the National Energy strategy
  • Hydrogen transition business case preparation for a vertically integrated energy holding's natural gas division
  • Redesign of the Network Development Planning process of the electrical grid of Hungary commissioned by the Hungarian Energy and Public Utility Regulatory Authority and the TSO.
  • Due diligence, carve out concept preparation and negotiation support in the acquisition of an electric power DSO in Hungary.

Entered to the company as an advisor and climbed the corporate ladder to become a manager. Worked for the major energy companies of the domestic market. Operative project leader after the first two years. Became trusted advisor for several clients in asset intensive segment of the industry.


Key projects:

  • Operational, technological and legal due diligence of 15 Hungarian district heating companies. Leading engagement manager, coordinating the effort of over 20+ consultant.
  • Creation of long term strategy of a vertically integrated energy company in Central Asia. Coordinating the operative work of a team of six people in 3 counties and different time zones.
  • Project manager of a nuclear power plant' transition from 12 to 15 month operational cycle. The transition was unique in this power plant technology and was considered as a major innovation.
  • International benchmarking (Finland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary) project of power plants with 440 MW PWR technology.
