  • Responsible to successfully run the Resort with 496 Suites, Guest Rooms and Villas, 7 F&B Outlets, extensive in and outdoor Family and Kids' Facilities and large Meeting Facilities. The yearly revenue in 2023 was 33 million Euro which is 65% higher compared to pre-pandemic times.
  • Strong focus on improving financial performance, market positioning of Resort and elevating guest experience and improving quality results.
  • Managed a diverse team of professionals, fostering a positive work environment and high employee satisfaction. Resort employed between 550 and 730 employees depending on seasonal requirements.
  • Managed budget implementations and developed and implemented strategies to increase sales and profitability.
  • Work with the regional projects team to prepare for a Resort renovation including Family Guest Rooms and Suites, new F&B Concepts and new Family and Kids facilities.
  • Conceptualize and implement a new Family / Kids program for the Resort which also were subsequently implemented in all Mainland China Hotels including Room Packages, Activity Calendar, F&B activation and Family Programs for key holidays throughout the year.
  • Spearheaded sustainability initiatives aimed at reducing environmental impact of hotel operations while also enhancing guest experience.

  • In Charge of 2 Shangri-La Properties in Shenyang: Shangri-La Shenyang (383 Rooms & 58 Serviced Apartments) and Hotel Jen, Shenyang (460 Rooms & 140 Serviced Apartments).
  • The Shangri-La is the leading 5 Star business hotel in Shenyang with 4 F&B Outlets and the largest meeting facilities within a 5 Star hotel in Shenyang. We employed 320 employees and the yearly revenue turnover was 27 million Euro.
  • Hotel Jen, Shenyang is a 4 Star business hotel with 2 F&B outlets, meeting facilities and a large shopping complex. The yearly revenue turnover is 10 million Euro and we managed 380 employees.
  • Implemented innovative marketing strategies to drive occupancy rates during weekends and low season periods by focusing on local family market.
  • Work very closely with owning company to establish successful partnerships to generate additional revenue streams and increase brand awareness.
  • Increased guest satisfaction scores by focusing on exemplary customer service and addressing concerns promptly.

  • The hotels yearly revenue turnover is 40 million Euro and the facilities include 5 F&B outlets and large banquet facilities with a ballroom (capacity of 1000 persons sit down) and 16 function rooms.
  • I was also fully responsible to work with the developer for the opening of a new Residences Tower with additional 150 Serviced Apartments, 142 Residences for sale and large commercial areas for rent.
  • Analyzed market trends/data to identify potential opportunities for business growth within existing or emerging markets successfully.
