I have always been a very determined and result-oriented person. After my studies I had the opportunity to emerge in the logistics world and to celebrate many personal as well as team-based achievements.
Out of the Box thinking and an already very early cross-departmental interest in business development has given me the opportunity to reach the next stage of development as a Business Development Manager. Internal communication, as well as motivating various teams to leverage their synergies, was personally the greatest challenge and learning curve.
The majority of daily tasks involved maintaining international partnerships with carriers and conducting price negotiations on both long-term and spot basis.
Here, I was able to learn how to define one's success through customer care and carrier relationships, despite significant market fluctuations. An early contribution to the achievement of goals in the IT-CH/AT sector reached its peak with the victory the company's internal championship.
