In present organization I am looking after from Raw material supply chain, Consumable, Fuel supply chain and efficiency of fuel during each process and Utility, Plant maintenance, Plant Operation along with QC. Making a good team with a motivated sprit focusing to do the right job for selecting right raw material, PPC and Despatch to customer and to response to customer after sales. Plant capacity for Extrusion Aluminium Billet Casting 2800Mt/ Per month.

My Experience in Jindal Alumunium

I am rerporting to Dy.GM Operation of extrution. The capacity of the foundry is 11000MT / Month. It is faciliated with 4nos of Melting furnace and 2nos of holding furnace, 4 nos of Homgenizing furnace along with 3nos of cutting line. We are casting from 5inches to 12 inches dia Alumunium billet. Our casting process are Hottop casting. We are casting 1000,2014,3003,5052,6063,6061,6060,6082,6005,7075,6262. Both for domestic market and Intenational market. My management grade is M4.

My Experience in Tower group & Tower Alloys in Operation

From 2nd August 2013, I have joined as Process and Production Technologist in Aluminum Rolling Mill Tower Group Presently (Tower Alloy Industries Ltd Nigeria PERCO GROUP), Nigeria, and Reporting to General Manager for handling mechanical maintenance production of ALUMUNIUM CIRCLE PRODUCTIONLINE. Making a Bill of Material, Optimizing Coil Slitting and Setting up SOP for Schuler and Olympia Press. Keeping Mold, Die & Punch condition by creating a TOOL LIBRARY.

STAGGER Blanking Press Operation and CRM

  • Operations for 2000KN STAGGER BLANKING PRESS. Capacity of 300MT of circles, Average thickness of 0.6mm-3.0mm. Designing and optimizing Coil width for different size Circles. According to that Generating order of Slab Casting followed by Hot rolling and making Cold rolling schedule for getting maximum width recovery as well as.
  • Operating Achenbach reversible CRM, scheduling PPP.
  • Making pass schedule of for alloy wise to optimize production time.

Aluminium DIRECT CHILL COMPOSITE Casting and AIR SLIP Technology

  • In the year 2014 I got an appraisal to Process and Production in Charge for Circle blanking Aluminum Ingot and Billet casting plant capacity of 90 MT per Day, Responsibilities for looking after Operations for 1no Regenerative NG fired Melting Furnace capacity of 30MT, Hydraulic pusher type charger, 1no Holding furnace33MT, 35 MT of Homogenizing Furnace Wagstaff casting system for LHDC casting and Air Slip Casting.
  • During the process learnt Grading Aluminum scrap for 1200, 8011, 6063, 6061, 8127 alloys.

Grain Structure Study through Acid Etching and Physical test before Sales

After heat treatment I have also experienced in grain structure study and physical test for both in billet and Cold rolled product and generating report.

Wagstaff Casting Technology

  • During operation I have experienced LHDC for Rolling Aluminum Ingot casting and AIRSLIP Extrusion Billet casting Technology.
  • I have experienced through Setting recipe and according to that making SOP for casting. Constant Monitoring parameters through SCADA to reduce casting defects.

Continuous Double roll Castingtechnology

  • I have experience in operatingdouble roll continuous caster.
  • I have experience in making Melting recipes for product wise as per customer’s requirement, as well as to keep melt loss and fuel consumption in optimum.
  • I have experience in nozzle setting, adjustment of throughput speed, so that maximum productivity can achieved, keeping the profile in tolerance, along the line with CRM requirements.

Alloy Ingot of Al-Si-Cu

  • Operation Head in Al-Si-Cu Alloy Ingot casting, about 200MT per month, from 100% third party scrap.
  • Experience in handling Export orders for Alloy ingot.

Inventory, Production, Sales Report

  • I have toMonitor Daily basis production and inventory report and Monthly Inventory report in SAP A1 and Physical.
  • Daily basis making PPP with team members.
  • Team Leading: Presently I have to lead 9 Shift in Charge and 60nos of cross functional work force.
  • Regular monitoring of the sales and regularly interaction with customers to understand their demand and accordingly optimize our process and production as per maximum yield of machine operation.
  • Exposure for In Extrusion Process and parameters.

CASTING FOR COPPER BASED ALLOY

  • From JUNE 2010-August-2012 Metal Cast Company. W.B. India. as a, Production Manager.
  • Making core and green sand mold as per customer’s requirement for different design, keeping shrinkage allowance. Casting of Copper Tin alloy like C92900, C90300.
  • I have experienced maximum casting size 250kg one single piece.
  • Making sand molds and checking proper runner, Couper, riser was my essential job through which the gas entrapment can reduce.

  • Product mainly manufactured in which I experienced Gear Stock
  • Valve body and components.

Ship Hull Fabrication and Repairing

I got an appraisal April-2012 to Asst Manager .and directly reporting to General Manager and got an additional experience for making stage scaffolding, making of plate fabrication JIG. And mild steel plate welding procedure of different thickness.

Project for Steel Melting Shop and DBAR Rolling Mill

From March 2009-June2010 Euro Asian Steel Georgia, Project, and Production Engineer. Reporting Senior Vice President –Euro Asian Ventures FZE.

Erection and Commissioning of Induction Steel melting Furnace

Supervision experience gathered after completion of erection and commissioning 4nos of 20MT Induction Furnace, Tandem type Debar rolling mill and NG fired Refractory lined Reheating Furnace in September-2009.

Production and Mechanical maintenance

  • Duringproduction, I was experienced by making BOM for pencil ingots accordingly, the rolling mill’s order. To maintain the Production and process I was the sole responsible for handling 70 nos of work force shift wise. To keep the shift wise inventory of pencil ingots production and rolling mill production.
  • Through Production and Mechanical Maintenance of Induction furnace and Rolling mill I experienced spare management, critical spare management, Preventive Maintenance, day to day Keen observation of Machine operating parameters, Patching of the Induction Furnace and Customer’s Requirement wise optimizing and process controlling in respect of raw materials and energy for cost saving. Selecting and grading of Steel SCRAP were key responsibility before charging.

Controlling Process Parameters

Controlling Tapping Temperature to reduce the use of Aluminium and Silicon for deoxidation and fluidity. Controlling and Monitoring Sulphur and Phosphorus% are the Key experience for Steel Casting.

Production and Planning

  • On daily basis Production and Planning was done with our production team.
  • Weekly Scrap Inventory and consumables are key role.

Quality Inspection

I have got experience for maintaining Each casting batch no or heat no wise has its own spectrometer analysis report and after rolling etching and physical test report and necessary Production documentations.

Specification

  • During Production in charge, I have worked in Specification according Russian and Gost.
  • From Jan 2006 I joined inMetal Cast Company Kolkata, as a trainee engineer in casting shop and molding shop.
  • To understand making of pattern and the shrinking allowance for making green sand molding. From 2007 I got an appraisal in as a Junior Engineer in Ship repairing site.
