NOC Deputy Team Lead

Appointed as the Deputy Team Leader for the NOC team. All my previous NOC Engineer tasks and duties still apply, however new additional Team Lead duties are now also part of my day to day tasks.

In addition to the NOC Engineer tasks, my other Team Lead tasks include:

  • Creating guidelines and documentation for optimal NOC operations
  • Coordinating with other technical teams in order to discuss any new systems that need to be monitored by NOC
  • Coordinating with other technical teams in order to discuss any new tools that need to be used by NOC
  • Creating knowledge sharing articles for any new monitoring tasks
  • Responsible for keeping all NOC knowledge base articles up to date
  • Training new recruits
  • Planning of NOC team shift duties
  • Assist Team Lead with assessment of NOC team performance
  • Assist Team Lead with his duties whenever he needs any kind of assistance
