During this Erasmus+ Traineeship programme I acquired the following skills:
- Insights in the set-up and operation of a non-profit organisation, including various boards (Experts’ Jury, Advisory Board etc.)
- Implementation of a participatory democracy project spanning 47 countries
- First-hand experience with a Thousands of members strong Citzens’ Jury
- Communication and workshop support, including moderation and facilitation methods
- Exchange with City administration representatives and partner organisations
- Communication with various stakeholders throughout Europe
- Basic documentation, reporting and knowledge management
- Tools and infrastructure for (online) collaboration
- How to develop and write a Protection Policy such as on Children
English Language Tutor (Volunteering)

I took part in this volunteer project as an English tutor for middle school students with socio-economic and learning difficulties.
TOP is a programme aimed at secondary school students that aims to counter the growing learning loss.
It is supported by the Cariplo Foundation and is an initiative of Bocconi University and Harvard University.
The Italian Centre for Aid to Children (CIAI) is responsible for the implementation of tutoring and information and training activities for tutors.
The Bicocca University is responsible for the development of the tutors' training modules and responsible for the supervision of the supervisors.

The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) - From March to May 2022
The OSCE Laboratory "The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe as a Model for 21st Century Multilateral Regional Diplomacy" had the ultimate goal of promoting and developing the partecipants' critical capacities through the analysis of concrete and current issues affecting the European region.
Skill covered:
- Recognize and understand the main features of regional multilateral diplomacy, in particular the OSCE context
- Evaluate and analyze the different instruments and strategies tackled within the OSCE
- Recognize and assess the OSCE strengths and limits in international relations and regional geopolitics
